Unless you’re flying at 30,000 ft, this TCP (Tactical Pilotage Chart) may look the part, but isn’t much good for practical navigation because the scale is so small (1:1,000,000). However, for an early briefing to examine possible routes from Kabul to their destination, this would have been just what Ant and H needed. The town of Yakawlang is in the upper part of this map and you can just make out the (now) famous Helmand river in the far South-West.


Bad practice to write on maps, and H should have known better.
